MORE CALIFORNIA
Lots more work to be posted from my recent trip to the Golden State. These shots are from the Salk Institute in La Jolla. Jonas Salk - father of the polio vaccine - founded the Salk Institute in 1962 as a center for biological studies. Salk hired architect Louis Kahn to "create a facility worthy of a visit by Picasso."
'Ol Pablo would've been impressed.

I've always wanted to visit the Salk Institute. Thanks for taking such rad photos of it.
ReplyDeleteChad-
ReplyDeleteI would recommend visiting - especially since it's so close to you. Also, just across the street at UCSD is another really crazy building. I'll post some shots of that one soon. Thanks for the kind words, pal.
